Complementary Events

Complementary event of an event A is an event that contains all those sample points of sample space which are not in A.

Complementary event of an event A is an event that contains all those sample points of sample space which are not in A. For complementary events A U Ac = S.
For example, when a die is rolled, the sample space is S={1,2,3,4,5,6}.
Let A= getting 5={5}, then B={1,2,3,4,6} is complementary event of A.
